The Roca Foradada Festival returns this summer to the Port of Torredembarra with a new edition featuring two major new additions: concerts will now take place on Fridays (instead of the usual Saturdays), and the tradition of havaneres with burnt rum is being revived.
The concert series will take place every Friday in August, at10:00 PM , in the iconic setting of Roca Foradada. The festival remains committed to live music, with a lineup that blends various musical styles.
The program will kick off on August 1st with a performance by Elena Gadel, presenting her new show La dona que em vesteix, featuring unreleased songs such as Et confesso and Niña eterna, and a refreshed stage design.
On Friday, August 8, Lia Sampai will take the stage with the concert Un delta fràgil, inspired by the landscape and realities of the Ebro Delta region.
The third concert will be held on August 15, featuring La Vella Dixieland & Friends, joined by guest artists Namina and Joan Mar Sauqué, for an evening dedicated to jazz and dixieland.
The festival will conclude on August 22 with Barca de Mitjana, a group with three decades of experience, performing havaneres and traditional tavern songs, accompanied by the classic burnt rum.
General ticket price is €7 per concert. A reduced price of €5 is available for seniors over 65, retirees, pensioners, unemployed individuals, recipients of minimum income, people with disabilities, as well as large and single-parent families.
Tickets can be purchased through the website.
The festival is organized by the Torredembarra Town Council, through the Department of Culture, and has the collaboration of the Port of Torredembarra, with the support of the Catalan Government’s Department of Culture and the Tarragona Provincial Council.
