Christmas Race in Port Torredembarra

Regata de Navidad en Port Torredembarra

On December 14, the Port of Torredembarra held the traditional Christmas Race, with a day that tested the tactical skills of all participants.

With a light and extremely changeable offshore wind, the sailors faced a real meteorological puzzle. Tactical decisions made the difference in this 10-mile test, in which each tack and tack became crucial to gain positions.

Despite the challenging conditions, the Christmas spirit and competitiveness were present in every maneuver. Tomeu Dardé’s Bijoux sailboat and Guillermo Di Marco’s Neo I took victory in the COMPETITION and PROMOTION groups respectively after a brilliant reading of the wind.

At the end of the race, the participants enjoyed a lively meeting at the club, where the traditional hams were awarded as race prizes and a toast was made to a 2025 full of successes on the water.

Thank you to all the sailors, technical team and race committee for making this an unforgettable day!
