You own a boat and enjoy the sea, but don’t consider yourself “competitive”? That doesn’t matter in our social regattas! These events are designed for sailors of all levels.
This coming Sunday, December 22nd at 11am, the Association of Friends of the Latin Sailing Orsapop organizes a solidarity outing for the Marathon.
Customer for the wintering of my boat plus a few weeks afloat, very pleasant port, exceptional welcome, very good level of technical assistance. The city is very pleasant, the restaurants by the sea are great.
We arrived on a seafaring Sunday at the top, perfect welcome and were even able to arrange an early departure the next day. The booking through Navily worked perfectly. We were there on 16/07, the day of the feast of the god of the sea, when all the sailboats gather at sea for a festive moment to which we were invited.
Discovered at the end of last season thanks to navily, we left our catamaran in confidence to spend the winter (winter is very relative at this latitude!). First class and discreet maritime protection, permanent surveillance, attentive and French-speaking harbour master's office. Torredembarra is a very pleasant town and an easy starting point to Barcelona and Tarragona by the local road. A beach with crystal clear waters, easy access by catamaran, only a few minutes from Cambrils. Efficient service providers. In short, Spain as we like it, simple, beautiful and warm.
A quality welcome, both at the harbour master's office (where French is spoken) and on the pontoons, with an efficient and dedicated team of sailors. The pontoons are being renovated, which causes some interruptions, but does not prevent us from enjoying this marina on a human scale. The only weak point: the shops. There are two small mini-markets nearby, but the choice is limited. The larger supermarkets are further away. The train station is only 1/4 hour walk away and has frequent connections to Tarragona and Barcelona: very convenient! Some nice restaurants in the marina.
A very nice port with a very friendly staff.
When we entered the harbor, we called over the VHF radio to the Sailor, who came immediately to greet us and help us.
The sanitary facilities are simple but clean.
The adjacent beach invites for an extended walk.
We were very happy with the support to carry out work on the ship. The crew at the port office is very helpful. Also, depending on the season, there are some good restaurants right in the harbour. The sanitary facilities are basic but clean. We highly recommend the harbour. It is also worth going to the beach next to the harbour.
